New Project - About me & photography

Genuinely the best night view.

It has been the third month since I move to UK, an excellent time to kick off my first blog. My name is Vince, it was Vincent, but it carries loads of awful memories, hence I made a slight change of it. Speaking of poor memories, some of them were unforgettable which had happened in my home place–Hong Kong. According to the official statement, near 80,000 Hong Kongers immigrated in UK by the end of 2022, government will predict an onward growing figures to 150,000. Root was brought back in 2021 in response to China imposing a controversial new security law in Hong Kong, which the UK revealed was an erosion of freedoms and rights. Thus, my wife and I determine to let go of it, pick up this chance to live a a way of life with no fear.

As all average Hong Kong employees suffering from stress, depression, panic, it once frustrated me to perceive the passion of life, work 60 hours a week, soak into the hypocritical society led me nothing but grief. In 2021, I have my early camera – APS-C Fujifilm XT4 and study Photography. Surprisingly, I discover a strong bonding between this hobby and myself. “WE” seem synchronized while observing a nice composition. That is rare to myself where I can feel my inner adrenaline and the sense of achievement. Now after a year, I am thrilled to kick off my original photography project–Establishing my online personal gallery, to share what I see through and most importantly, to inspire you and regain the belief we have lost. In the coming episodes, I will share my photographs which are taken in different cities, it might take me a while to discover what is the best way to display my collections but ya, at least it is a beginning isn’t it?
